Getting to the Harry Potter Studio from London

The Studio Tour is not in London proper: it sits at Leavesden near Watford, about 20 miles north-west of the centre. Getting there is easy once you know the options. Here are all of them, with times, costs and the traps to avoid.

Option 1: train and the free shuttle

Trains from London Euston reach Watford Junction in about 20 minutes, several times an hour; buy a return to Watford Junction before you travel. Families of up to six can book a private chauffeur return from about $374 per group, with entry tickets bought separately.
